Preview Monday: AQUAMAN #30 and DEAD BOY DETECTIVES #5

By Clark Bull Monday, April 21st, 2014

Welcome back for another installment of Preview Monday! This week, we’re giving you exclusive first looks at AQUAMAN #30 and DEAD BOY DETECTIVES #5.

Centuries ago, Hercules aided Atlantis in a time of great need and suffered great betrayal for his efforts at the hands of the same King of Atlantis he was helping. Now, the neo-God is back – but is he bent on revenge, or has he been consumed by madness? And even if Aquaman can contain Hercules, the Gigantomachy are now free to wreak havoc wherever they go! Look for AQUAMAN #30, written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Paul Pelletier, Sean Parsons, Alvaro Martinez and Raul Fernandez, this Wednesday.

Then, in DEAD BOY DETECTIVES #5, Crystal is back at her parents’ swanky house after causing the destruction at St. Hilarion’s. Crystal bonds with Charles over a high tech investigation of his mysterious family history. Feeling distinctly unwanted, Edwin huffs off to begin his very own investigation. What can be discovered in the spooky, cat-infested house across the way? What he finds turns his whole world upside-down. Written by Toby Litt and illustrated by Mark Buckingham and Russel Braun, DEAD BOY DETECTIVES #5 hits shelves on Wednesday.
