We’ve seen the future of Batman and it is… LEGO bricks? Okay, maybe not, but Batman gets a healthy dose of both in our latest episode of DC All Access. First, Scott Snyder joins us via our magic screen (that’s right…maaaaagic!) to discuss this week’s future shock Batman #28.
So did you miss us? We sure hope so because DC All Access is back with our first new episode of 2014. And what an episode it is! Dan DiDio joins Geoff Johns to make a major announcement—legendary artist John Romita, Jr. will be teaming up with Johns on Superman!
In the world of DC Comics, you don’t need super powers to look into your future. You just need Scott Snyder and Dustin Nguyen. In this week’s eagerly awaited BATMAN #28, we take a break from the ongoing “Zero Year,” and jump from the past deep into the future with a special standalone “spoiler” issue that looks at what lies in store for Batman in the months ahead.
One of the perks of working on DC All Access is that we’re occasionally able to read comics before they hit stands (it helps if we’re doing a feature on one of them…or in lieu of that, if you bribe the editors with cronuts), and such was the case with the first issue of The Royals: Masters of War. Knowing this, the editor of the Vertigo site asked if I’d mind writing a few words about it for their blog.
DC All Access returns tomorrow with an all-new episode hosted by the always enthusiastic Tiffany Smith and Blair Herter. We caught up with our two co-hosts while they were shooting this week’s episode and sat them down for a little conversation on all things All Access. Here’s what went down…
SPOILER ALERT: If you have not read DEAD BOY DETECTIVES #2 and do not wish to know what happens, stop reading this post now (major spoilers ahead!).
The Dead Boy Detectives head back to St. Hilarion’s in issue #2 of this ghostly series.
