In Case You Missed It: NIGHTWING #20

As most of you know, in the pages of NIGHTWING #19, Dick Grayson (a.k.a. Nightwing) has recently moved to Chicago. In the latest issue, NIGHTWING #20, written by Kyle Higgins and illustrated by Brett Booth and Norm Rapmund, on shelves now, Nightwing returns to the apartment he’s subletting in the Windy City for some well earned rest following his explosive encounter with the Chicago Police Department.

If you look very closely at the posters adorning Dick’s new room and his friend’s t-shirt you can see a visual nod to PUNK ROCK JESUS, the celebrated Vertigo mini-series written and illustrated by Sean Murphy! Check out the pages in the gallery above.

PUNK ROCK JESUS tells the story of the ultimate reality show stunt: Chris, a clone of Jesus Christ, becomes an overnight sensation as the star of a reality television show watched by billions of faithful viewers around the globe. A thought provoking story that lies at the crossroads of celebrity, science and faith, it’s a game changer you won't want to miss.

Both NIGHTWING #20 and PUNK ROCK JESUS are available in stores now.
