Preview Monday: TEAM 7 #7 and SAUCER COUNTRY #14

Welcome back for another installment of Preview Monday! This week we’re giving you exclusive first looks at TEAM 7 #7 and SAUCER COUNTRY #14.

After the exciting events of the last issue, Team 7 finds themselves on the island nation of Gamorra in order to stop their power hungry ruler, Kaizen Gamorra. The DC Entertainment Hugo and Reuben Award nominees are...

Award season is here! We are pleased to share that SAUCER COUNTRY has been nominated for a Hugo Award and BEFORE WATCHMEN: SILK SPECTRE artist, Amanda Conner, has been nominated for a Reuben Award!

The Hugo Awards have been presented annually since 1955 and are science fiction’s most prestigious award. Voted on by members of the World Science Fiction Convention, the nominees for the 2013 Hugo Awards were recently announced.

SAUCER COUNTRY Vol 1: RUN, written by Paul Cornell with art by Ryan Kelly, is nominated in the Best Graphic Story category.

The 2013 Hugo Award and John W. Campbell Award winners will be announced Sunday, September 1, 2013, during the Hugo Awards Ceremony at LoneStarCon 3 in San Antonio, Texas.

But that’s not all!

Each year, the National Cartoonists Society honors the year’s outstanding achievements in all areas of the profession. The 2012 nominees for the 67th Annual National Cartoonists Society Reuben Awards were recently announced.

Among the nominees in the Comic Book category is artist and co-writer, Amanda Conner for her work on BEFORE WATCHMEN: SILK SPECTRE.
