My Favorite Panel of THE SANDMAN

Yesterday, some of the artists who worked on THE SANDMAN shared their first memory of THE SANDMAN. In today’s installment of the 25 Days of Sandman we asked the artists to share their favorite panel from this monumental series and to describe what it means to them. Some chose their own art while others spoke reverently of their peers.

Take a look at the gallery above and match the artwork with the description from the artist.

My First Memory of THE SANDMAN

Remember the first time you entered the world of The Endless?  Whether you were there from the beginning with THE SANDMAN #1 or you joined at some point in the last twenty-five years, every fan can recall their first memory of THE SANDMAN.

With this installment of the 25 Days of Sandman, we asked many of the artists that have helped bring Neil Gaiman’s THE SANDMAN to life to share their first memories on the job.

The Little Endless

Do you know a Little Delirium or a Little Destruction? If so, it’s time to break out THE LITTLE ENDLESS STORYBOOK and DELIRIUM’S PARTY: A Little Endless Storybook by Jill Thompson.

Multiple Eisner award-winning writer/artist Jill Thompson’s all ages storybooks feature the diminutive versions of The Endless, (siblings Delirium, Despair, Dream, Destruction, Desire, Destiny and Death) from Neil Gaiman’s THE SANDMAN mythos. Each is brought to life through her fanciful prose and vibrant watercolors.

Each character in THE SANDMAN has his or her own unique voice, and over the course of the series they’ve said some profound things. In this installment of 25 Days of Sandman, we’re bringing you some memorable lines—some words of sage advice and some of insight—right from the lips of your favorite characters. Meet the Endless

We’re kicking off our 25 Days of Sandman with The Endless.

They’ll be appearing in Neil Gaiman’s highly anticipated new bi-monthly series THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE, so let’s get to know them!

The Endless are immortal depictions of seven abstract emotions and ideas, each has his/her own realm and responsibilities. They behave as siblings and wear a variety of appearances within the pages of THE SANDMAN.
