Pia Guerra is an award-winning comic book artist best known for her work as co-creator and penciller on the Vertigo title Y: THE LAST MAN. She has been nominated multiple times for the Eisner Awards and has won Outstanding Comic Book Artist for 2006 at the Joe Shuster Awards. Although this American-born illustrator has been working on various independent titles since the mid-1990's, Y-THE LAST MAN is known as her "big break" in the comics industry.
