For this week’s installment of Preview Monday, we’re giving you exclusive first looks at CATWOMAN #13 and AMERICAN VAMPIRE: LORD OF NIGHTMARES #5.

For this week’s installment of Preview Mondays, we’re give you exclusive first looks at THE RAVAGERS #2 and AMERICAN VAMPIRE: LORD OF NIGHTMARES #1!

 

A couple of weeks ago we launched THE RAVAGERS. Part of the “Second Wave” of DC COMICS-THE NEW 52, this new ongoing monthly series spun directly out of “The Culling” crossover event between TEEN TITANS, TEEN TITANS ANNUAL, LEGION LOST and SUPERBOY. In issue #2, Fairchild, Ridge, Thunder and Lightning attempt to escape from N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and its agents in the “real world.” But when one of them gets held hostage, it’ll test the strength and loyalty of them all. This one changes everything.
 
I know you hear that all the time in comics, but we REALLY mean it this time. This summer’s blockbuster AMERICAN VAMPIRE storyline is called “The Blacklist,” and the whole gang returns to the place where it all started—Hollywood. But this time it’s the 50’s, so instead of flappers and silent films, tinsel-town is drenched in the fear and paranoia of the Communist “Red Scare.”
 
Massive turning point. Game-changer. Point of no return…call it what you want, but this one really does change everything.

Announcing AMERICAN VAMPIRE: Lord of Nightmares

Hot on the heels of last summer’s award winning mini-series AMERICAN VAMPIRE: Survival of the Fittest with art by Sean Murphy (now collected in AMERICAN VAMPIRE Vol. 3), Vertigo will publish AMERICAN VAMPIRE: Lord of Nightmares a new 5 issue miniseries written by AMERICAN VAMPIRE creator Scott Snyder, with art by Dustin Nguyen (Batman: Streets of Gotham, Detective Comics, Superman/Batman).

 

This June, New York Times bestselling author, Scott Snyder returns to postwar Europe and the vampire hunting agency known as The Vassals of the Morning Star. At the core of the story is agent Felicia Book. Felicia has had a dark life, filled with tragedy, but she has finally found peace, raising her adoptive son Gus in Paris. But when Agent Hobbes of The Vassals return to request her help tracking the most powerful vampire of all time, she soon learns nothing can prepare her for the threat inside The Coffin…
